EZ LYNK TUNING — READ THIS FIRST

We need the VIN when you order so the truck is linked to the device before it reaches you. Most orders ship expedited, so the VIN at order time is what gets it to you fastest.

Do this before you even think about removing the EGR or exhaust, so a tuning problem does not leave you with a broken truck over a weekend.

2018 and newer RAM: hook up the unlock cable first.

Even with brand new batteries trickle charged to 100%. If you do not own a charger, get one. The newer ECMs are very sensitive to voltage and the flash fails if it drops too low.

It needs iOS 8 or Android 5 or newer. In the app choose Create An Account, then verify your email address when the confirmation arrives. If you already have an account, use that one.

Turn the key to Run first, without starting the engine, so the ECM is awake. With push-button start, press the button twice without touching the brake. Then plug the Auto Agent in; a blue and a green light show it has booted.

Flashing a 2018 or newer Cummins? Connect the bypass cable at the same time. It only needs to be in while you flash, but it does no harm to leave it, in which case route it through the firewall.

Open your Wi-Fi settings and join the EZLYNK_#### network. A tick appears next to it when connected, and "connected without internet" is normal. The Auto Agent 2 can also connect over Bluetooth. Open the app and your vehicle gauges appear.

Your vehicle is lynked to us when you buy from us. If the phone has cellular data, a prompt asks you to lynk the vehicle; follow it. Without cellular data, join a network with internet, reopen the app to finish lynking, then switch back to the Auto Agent's network.

The app opens on the main dashboard. The button in the top left drops a menu; select your vehicle, then ECU Profiles. That is where your tune files live. Tapping a file shows anything specific about it. Tap the download arrow on the profile you want, then Install; the app walks you through the flash. On a phone or tablet without cellular data, switch to a network with internet to download the profile, then back to the EZ Lynk network to install it.

Duramax and Ford: after the ECM file, go back and flash your TCM file too. Cummins transmission tuning is built into the one file.

Your tune files are always in ECU Profiles. Tire size, fuel tank size, gear ratio and so on are in the Functions menu; if a function is not shown, it is not available for your vehicle. Tire size cannot be calibrated above 34.5". The Auto Agent only needs to be plugged in while programming and can be removed afterwards.

A rotary switch is required to change power levels. If you think the switch is not working, test it with the engine running: Cummins switches show on the barometric pressure PID in the EZ Lynk dashboard, Power Stroke switches on the fuel temp PID, and Duramax switches must be tested with a multimeter. If the value changes as you turn the switch, it is working.

Most modifications need no revision. Ones that usually do: a larger injection pump, some transmissions, some larger injectors, and larger air intakes such as a 5". If you have done a non-VGT turbo swap, or any of these, reach out in the EZ Lynk chat so you get the right file. A DCR pump conversion on a 2011–2019 Power Stroke needs no revision.
