MM3 TUNER — GETTING YOUR TUNES LOADED
Connect a 10 amp battery charger before programming, and never program with the engine running or interrupt a session.
What to do with an MM3 tuner when it arrives: connecting the hardware, installing the tune file, and switching between power levels. The MM3 uses the same display, controller and communication module layout as the RaceMe Ultra, so the RaceMe Ultra hardware connection guide covers the physical connections. If you ordered the tunes pre-loaded there is nothing to transfer: the main file is already on the tuner. If you ordered the tuner blank, your tunes come by email once your account is set up.
Steps
1 Connect the hardware
Display to controller with the micro USB cord, controller onto the communication module, OBD2 cable to the port under the dash. The video walks through it, and the RaceMe Ultra hardware connection guide has the same connections step by step with photos.
2 Pre-loaded tunes: install the main file
Turn the ignition to Run with a battery charger connected. The main tune file is already on the tuner; select it and install it. Skip any steps in the video about plugging the SD card into a computer.
3 Change power levels with the Switch function
Once the main file is loaded, power levels are changed through the Switch function on the Main Menu. The novelty tunes, the idle sounds, are reached through RT.
4 Blank tuner: get your account and tunes
Follow the instructions packed with the MM3 tuner. When you get the reply email, follow its instructions for making an account; that is how the tunes reach you. Load them onto the tuner's SD card from a computer, then install as in step 2.
