SWITCH ON THE FLY VIA CRUISE CONTROL — 22-24 CUMMINS 6.7L
The truck must have OEM cruise control hardware and steering wheel, be On or running, and have cruise control deactivated before the buttons will switch maps.
Changing tune slots on a 2022–2024 RAM 2500/3500 6.7L Cummins with the factory cruise control buttons, using HP Tuners' switch-on-the-fly. No physical switch is needed. The active slot is shown by the ETC lamp blinking and a chime.
Steps
1 Meet the switching requirements
The vehicle must be equipped with OEM cruise control hardware and steering wheel. It must be On or running, and cruise control must be deactivated.
2 Activate the switching menu
Press the Cancel (X) button. The active slot is displayed via the ETC lamp blink and chime.
Once activated, or whenever a slot is changed, map switching stays available for 10 seconds.
3 Change the active slot
Press Resume to increase the active slot by 1, or Set (−) to decrease it by 1. Each change is displayed via the ETC lamp blink and chime.
The active slot is limited by the Max Allowed Slots calibration setting.
4 Deactivate the switching menu
The menu deactivates on its own after 10 seconds without a button press.
Pressing Cancel (X) while the display is active deactivates the switching menu. Pressing Cancel (X) while the display is inactive shows the active slot via the ETC lamp blink and chime.
